RETURN POLICY
(The following return policies and procedures apply only to LensExpo.com customers and are subject to change at any time without notice. LensExpo.com is intended for the actual contact lens wearing consumer, although LensExpo.com does not specifically prohibit sales of its products by third-party purchasers (i.e. optometrists, resellers, etc.) Therefore, the following return policies and procedures are not enforceable against LensExpo.com by any third-party purchasers on behalf of their patients/clients.)

1. Unopened Lens Exchange

Any unexpired, unopened, factory sealed contact lenses (excluding six-pack and private label lenses) purchased directly from LensExpo.com may be exchanged for an equal quantity of the same lens type and brand, at any time up to ninety (90) days from the invoice date.

2. Opened Lens Exchange

Any opened contact lens (excluding six-pack and private label lenses) purchased directly from LensExpo.com may be exchanged for an equal quantity of the same lens type and brand, at any at any time up to thirty (30) days from the invoice date.

3. Defective Lens Exchange

LensExpo.com will replace any lens found to be defective, in materials or workmanship, with an identical lens type and prescription. Lenses must be returned in the original vial/container. Lenses will be examined and inspected upon receipt, according to standard quality assurance specifications. If the lens is judged not to be defective, shows signs of mishandling, is returned in other than its original vial/container or without required documentation, the lens will be returned to you and no credit will be issued. The non-defective lens returned to you must be cleansed and disinfected prior to any use.

4. Six-Pack and Private Label Lenses

Six-pack and private label lenses are not returnable for exchange or credit.

5. Damage in Transit

Lens products damaged in transit will be replaced with identical lens type and prescription if the damage is reported to the Customer Service Department at 1-888-814-LENS(5367) within forty-eight (48) hours after the receipt of shipment. In the event the shipment is sent by any mode or service other than the U.S. Mail, you must make a “goods damaged in transit” notation on the delivery receipt or complete a report with the carrier within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt.

6. Return/Exchange Procedures

In order to process a return and exchange or a return for credit on any LensExpo.com lenses, please call our Customer Services Department at 1-888-814-LENS(5367) and do the following:

         Identify whether the return or exchange is for an opened lens, unopened lens, specialty lens, Guaranteed Fit lens, or lens damaged in transit. If the exchange is for a defective lens, please identify the nature of the defect on a “Return Lens Form” (you must complete one form for each defective lens);

         Place your corresponding exchange order for the appropriate lens type, brand, prescription and quantity;

         Record the new invoice number that you will receive from our Customer Service Representative, who will immediately process your replacement/exchange order. If your payments to LensExpo.com are past due, the replacement shipment will be held pending receipt of the returned lenses;

         Return the opened or unopened lenses to be exchanged, along with the requisite, completed Returned Lens Form(s) indicating the new invoice number obtained for the exchange. If returned lens is a specialty lens purchased under the Guaranteed Fit Policy, please return either a copy of the original invoice or the invoice number;

         LensExpo.com, upon receipt and inspection of returned products, will issue you a credit towards an exchange invoice if the returned goods comply with this exchange policy and you complete and submit the requisite Returned Lens Form(s).

LensExpo.com does not accept responsibility for returned lenses lost in transit and recommends that any returns be insured for their full value.

LensExpo.com reserves the right to add a $2.50 per-returned unit surcharge to any account with excessive returns/exchanges, as determined by LensExpo.com in its discretion.
